1 plus 1 is 2

One of our concepts in training is to train people in 1 topic combined with another topic. (1+1=2) This makes for the customer an investment of one day training with a double benefits. A quick win. For example we train people during the morning around Teambuilding while in the afternoon they get security techniques in accident prevention. The advantage is that in the morning the teammembers are knowing them better through the teambuilding exercices wich facilitate the knowlegde transfer for the afternoon.
Other combinations are
Stress prevention and teambuilding;
Stress prevention and motivation;
Motivation and fraude prevention;
Leadership and teambuidling;
Frauddetection and teambuilding;
Performance management andd teambuilding;

Training

Training is the activity to transfer knowledge to a person or a group of persons. This process of capturing information is complex as each of us learn in a different way.
Today we have multiple ways to learn:
classical, blended learning, on the job, coaching, learning by errors or mistakes, we can read on the internet, we can discusss, we can try to use something new, we can do some things on a simulator, we can learn by obesrving etc.,
All this methods are availbale and very free to use. But there is no challenge. The learning challenge is still a good way to have some competition during the learning. Teachers can bring some notes on exercices, we can do some tests to give some points to each questions, we can make an interrogation and give it a score.
To introduce the challenge during learning we can considerably boost the motivation during the learning activity.
Today I feel that certified or licensed programms are the only challenge we have. A certified programm is not so motivating as we think because there is no further motivation aspect.
So if you have some more arguments to give those programmas the necessary challenge ?
